We arrived at approximately 645 Friday May 11th. I had a tour from 8 to 10 and brought my buddy Flannery with me to see the house.
He is from the area out here and was curious about the old house and the renovations being done.
He was skeptical to say the least but did see the show on Ghost Hunters and was curious and open minded.
Steve said he was going to stick around to hear me do the historical tour and then leave when the groups broke up after seeing the house.
I opened up and took him all the way through the house to the attic. We enjoyed the viewed and talked a little bit. As we were coming out the tours were arriving,
I got the case and notebook out and when getting a pen out set the k2 next to the bag. Steve asked if it was a k2 and I replied “yes” and turned it on and handed it to Steve. It immediately lit up, Steve had hits in nearly every room.
A few people were having difficulty taking pictures, batteries being drained in the dark dungeon room. This happened other places in the house throughout the night as well.
On the 2nd floor I was asked by the last person into the blueroom if there was anyone else behind us because they had heard footsteps. We were all standing on or near the deck when footsteps were heard in the room below us, at this time the k2 lit up and continued to light until I led others to different floors, Steve and 2 others stayed in the attic and had k2 hits for nearly 20 mins.
I placed other people on the 2nd floor and took 2 people to the dark room. They asked some of the things that happened and I told them about the flashlights dimming and turning on and off. As soon as I said this the light dimmed, they asked if they could keep the light with them and I left it to go out to organize the paperwork. The light kept doing this throughout the night.
Footsteps were heard, we had k2 hits on every floor, 2 different flashlights were turning on and off and dimming in the first floor hallway. We gathered up around 945 in the couch room knowing that the tour was coming to an end and this is when things got crazy. We had 3 flashlights, 2 k2s and 2 phones with ghost radar. Both of the phones said Eddie at nearly the same time. Someone asked if there was someone here named Eddie or Edward and both k2s hit and went solid red, flashlights dimmed, turned off, turned back on. The outside lights on the south and west walls went on, stayed for short periods of time went off and came on again. The words important, powerful, and here came on the ghost radar. This went on for nearly an hour. Despite the 3 flashlights the room was very dark and still.
We saw shadow movement in the piano rooms and first floor hallway. And as quickly as it started the k2s stopped, the lights outside went dark, our flashlights lit back up and it was over. We went in the piano room and someone began playing When Johnny Comes Marching Home on the piano, the words stop, hurt, crying came across the ghostradar. Steve started whistling Dixie and the k2 lit up and flashlight went off, we asked if they liked hearing Dixie and the flashlight lit back up.
